Let’s be honest: the default WordPress login page is… well, practical.
But about as exciting as a concrete wall on a foggy November morning in Berlin. 😅

That bothered me – and I thought: There must be a better way!

So I grabbed a coffee (or two ☕☕) and started building a plugin that lets you finally style your login page the way you want:

  • Replace the WordPress logo with your own ✅

  • Customize colors and backgrounds ✅

  • Add more personality, less uniform look ✅

From Idea to Experiment

It started with a simple thought: How hard could it be to make the login page look nicer?
That thought turned into an experiment – and I deliberately built it with ChatGPT.

I wanted to see: can you actually create a working plugin from scratch with AI support?
The answer: yes – and it was fun, too.
ChatGPT acted as my coding buddy: helping with the first snippets, debugging, and structuring the project.

What began as an idea turned into a running plugin in surprisingly little time.

Installation? Easy as 1–2–3

  1. Download & upload (in WP Dashboard: Plugins > Install > Upload Plugin)

  2. Activate

  3. Customize your login page – logo, colors, backgrounds. Done! 🎨

A Word About WordPress ❤️

What I truly love about WordPress: it’s free, open, and accessible to everyone.
No expensive licenses, no closed systems – just a global community that’s been building together for over 20 years.

Plugins like mine wouldn’t exist without this foundation.
The ecosystem thrives because people share their ideas and make them available to others.
This little plugin is my contribution – inspired by the freedom WordPress gives us all.

If you log in every day, your page might as well bring you a little joy.
That’s exactly what this plugin delivers.

Give it a try – and turn your login page into your personal entry portal! 🚀
